Feltham Train Depot
When the original contractor fell behind, Fenix Rail Systems turned to us. We completed installation, testing and commissioning of Feltham’s depot control system and point machines in nine days.
DIRFT3 Rail Freight Depot
Building a loading area for Royal Mail and other businesses at DIRFT 3 took signalling and civils together. We supplied Fenix Rail Systems with installation staff and testers.
Banbury Train Depot
Four new sidings, 21 signals and 14 axle counters at Chiltern’s Banbury depot. We installed, tested and commissioned the signalling for Fenix’s depot control system.
Re-Padding Track
Network Rail couldn’t spare the resource, so we ran the job as principal contractor. We re-padded 250 yards of track at Lichfield in two nights, with no PCL audit non-conformances.
Oxley Sleeper Change Project
Rotten sleepers risked a speed restriction at Oxley. We replaced the damaged sleepers for Network Rail over four weeks, helping the railway avoid it.
Warrington Power Station Project
Could heavier vehicles safely cross a private structure at Warrington Power Station? We supplied Ridge’s bridge examiners and organised the road closure, line blocks and crane.
Vegetation Management Support
Short of manpower on a de-vegetation framework in Wales, our Vegetation Management team called on Rail Operations, who supplied trained strimmer operatives for work around bridges.
DIRFT Rail Freight Depot Project
A new point control system needed more cable runs. We installed 28 cable management sleepers at DIRFT in ten days to provide them.
Sleeper Change Project
277 sleepers replaced over three weekend blockades, and a Temporary Speed Restriction lifted. For Network Rail at Bromsgrove we swapped 160 wooden and 117 composite sleepers.
