Disability Confident Leader
As part of Auctus Management Group, RSS Infrastructure holds the highest level of the Disability Confident initiative – Level 3: ‘Disability Confident Leader’. Since becoming a ‘Disability Confident Committed’ organisation in 2015, they have offered mandatory Disability Confident training to all new employees, Apprentices and contract workers during their induction process. We also strive to work closely with local organisations to provide work experience positions for people with disabilities.


SafeContractor accreditation
RSS Infrastructure holds the Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation, recognising excellence in health and safety management. Thousands of UK organisations use this scheme, including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies. RSSI specialises in the rail and civils sectors and sought accreditation to maintain a uniform standard. The accreditation boosts our ability to win new contracts, plus assist when renewing liability policies.
CIRAS Members
RSS Infrastructure is a certified Confidential Incident Reporting & Analysis Service (CIRAS) member. CIRAS will run alongside existing internal reporting systems within the business. This initiative aligns with RSSI’s focus on safety, well-being and people development and enables staff to raise health, well-being and safety concerns whilst protecting their identity.


RoSPA Members
RSSI are a member of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). This organisation works to reduce the number of deaths, injuries and accidents annually in the UK. RSSI are committed to safety excellence in the infrastructure sector and provides an innovative Track Warning System that is safer and more efficient than traditional methods. Becoming a member of RoSPA will help them further their mission of safety and security in their industry.
Building Mental Health Charter
As part of Auctus Management Group, RSS Infrastructure has signed the ‘Building Mental Health Charter’ to raise awareness of Mental Health in the infrastructure sector. The Charter seeks to reduce stigma by encouraging industry engagement and sharing best practices and information regarding mental health. It is dedicated to educating those in need on how and where to seek help.


Railway Mental Health Charter
As part of Auctus Management Group, RSS Infrastructure has signed the Railway Mental Health Charter. The Charter provides targeted actions and resources to improve mental health in companies and address unique working conditions such as shift patterns, demanding work environments and exposure to traumatic events. This framework helps to reduce stigma and change behaviours in the workplace by collaborating across industries.
Driving For Better Business (DfBB)
This government-backed Highways England programme helps employers reduce work-related road risk, decrease costs and improve compliance. RSS Infrastructure has achieved the Driving For Better Business (DfBB) accreditation with a score of 86%, beating the national average of 63%. RSS Infrastructure employs safety processes such as vehicle tracking systems, monitored dash cameras, mobile phone app pre-check driver forms and fatigue monitors to adhere to the standards set by DfBB.
