Project Delivery
RSS Infrastructure has been engaged in this high-profile HS2 project for over a year, attending all pre-planning meetings from T-52 to delivery. A high level of local knowledge and experience within the planning team has been key to the project’s success.
Working with Skanska’s on-site and Network Rail Route teams from the planning stage to delivery on-site has resulted in a great working relationship. The collaboration has flourished due to the regular flow of information and updates from all parties involved.
Working with a single-source supplier has several advantages. The client gains access to a multi-skilled workforce that can deliver isolation and worksite management.
On Track Plant (OTP) Planning and Management was a vital part of the planning and management, ensuring that all the necessary equipment and personnel were available at the appropriate times. On the project, RSSI also provided package works, which included safety-critical staff, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity for the client on-site.
RSS Infrastructure delivers a team briefing on the specific tasks to be done before the start of each shift as part of the delivery programme.
