RSS Infrastructure’s Managed Environments Division, specifically the IRATA Rope Access team, successfully executed the Soil Netting Installation Project near the River Gary in Perthshire, Scotland. The project involved the installation of soil netting on a steep railway embankment, stabilising retaining walls, and removing existing gabion baskets. Completed over two intensive 57-hour railway blockades, the project faced challenging weather conditions but was delivered on time with high safety and quality standards.
The Soil Netting Installation Project highlighted RSSI’s ability to expertly plan, implement, and deploy specialised teams across the UK, ensuring client success every step of the way. The work was completed under challenging conditions at a steep embankment near the River Gary in Perthshire, Scotland.
