It’s always great to get good feedback from clients, and in these challenging times, it is even more welcome. We were delighted to receive some positive comments that we wanted to pass on.
As key workers working hard to maintain the UK’s rail infrastructure, your contribution is not always at the forefront of the public’s mind. However, the work you are doing is essential, and our clients have noticed the high levels of professionalism, compliance with evolving guidance, and the skill and expertise used by the RSSI workforce to carry out the diverse range of tasks required.
Excellent Bletchley & Watford Feedback
Martin Benson, Head of Operations, gave us an update on works that took place last weekend. “Network Rail WD jobs at both Bletchley & Watford were both completed successfully this weekend and in plenty of time.
Points at Watford had been out of use for five years despite several previous attempts at reinstatement. Over weekend 04 our team of skilled railway engineers supported NR in successfully bringing the points back into service.
I met with the Works Delivery Manager, and he was delighted with the outcome. Here is a brief extract from his email.
“We had a very successful weekend and delivered all of our planned works. I want to thank you all for your commitment, hard work and your help in getting all the works to happen safely & compliant. Also to a very good standard, keep up the good work.”
The Programme Manager also sent the following email praising the team.
“Thanks to you, and your teams, for their efforts in planning and delivering the great work over the weekend.
The teams managed to deliver all the plan, hand back sites, scrap up, bring back S&C which has been signed out of this use for some time.”
Martin went on to say “I’m very proud of the efforts that everyone has made, and it gives everyone a boost to hear such positive comments. Well done to you all.”
OLE Set the Standard
The OLE Team were also singled out for praise on another project over the same weekend. Josh Cook passed on the feedback he received from one of our key clients.
The Overhead Line Manager for Central Rail Systems Alliance wanted to pass on his thanks via email. “Please convey my thanks to all your staff for a really good delivery this weekend, safety, efficiency and good reporting is all at a high standard.”
Feedback like this shows all your hard work, and the extra effort each team makes does not go unnoticed.
Sean Harrison, Managing Director, summed it up perfectly when he commented “A huge thank you from all the RSS Infrastructure management team. These are testing times for everyone, and we appreciate the high levels of professionalism, commitment and hard work you are putting in. Well done to you all, without you, we wouldn’t be a success.”
