Key actions
- Ongoing partnership since 2016, supporting Circus Starr’s touring performances.
- Helping children with disabilities and families in challenging circumstances to enjoy inclusive entertainment.
- Reinforcing our commitment to social value and community support.
What we did
Our Welding Services division in Doncaster recognised the vital role Circus Starr plays in the community and chose to support its mission as part of our wider social value strategy. We have consistently contributed to Circus Starr, helping to provide free tickets for families who might otherwise be unable to afford a day out.
Circus Starr hosts 148 animal-free, inclusive circus performances a year, so that children with additional needs and those facing hardship can enjoy a fun, judgement-free experience.
How it helped
- Access to inclusive entertainment: families facing financial hardship, bereavement or disability can attend performances free of charge.
- Stronger community connections: supporting a project that fosters inclusion and togetherness.
How it reflects our values
Circus Starr embodies inclusion, community and positive impact, all of which reflect our commitment to social responsibility and our belief that infrastructure should serve people and communities as well as industries.
