On 10 and 11 January, RSS Infrastructure took part in Coventry and Warwickshire’s annual Christmas tree collection, supporting the charity Pass the Smile for Ben, which raises funds for research into rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. The event, in collaboration with Myton Hospice, generated essential funding and promoted environmental sustainability by responsibly recycling 3,562 Christmas trees.

What we did
The RSSI team joined forces with other volunteers over the weekend to collect thousands of Christmas trees from households across Coventry and Warwickshire. The trees were recycled sustainably, reducing waste while supporting Pass the Smile for Ben and Myton Hospice.
Pass the Smile for Ben funds research into rhabdomyosarcoma through the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group, helping to advance treatments and support families. Myton Hospice continues its essential work delivering compassionate end-of-life care.
