Expansion of work across the armed forces continues to grow

Our expansion of work across the armed forces continues to grow. We have recently employed an ex Regimental Sergeant Major from the Army into our training school. Steve Cox, formerly of the Chefs Corps (AKA ‘The Rifles), has taken up the role of NVQ Trainer / Assessor.

Having served in the Army for over twenty-six years, Steve embarked on a number of operational tours as he worked his way through the ranks. In 2014, having completed his service, Steve left the Army and was immediately offered employment by Mouchel as Head Chef.

However, Steve’s experience as an instructor in the military and his passion for teaching saw him attend an Armed Forces Open Day hosted by Auctus Management Group. Despite a lack of immediate railway knowledge, his high levels of professionalism, vast experience as an instructor and will to learn saw him offered a position within the Group.
Below is a picture of Steve being presented with his Award in Education and Teaching which allows him to teach to all of our cohorts.
