    Excellent rates of pay. Location: South Wales

    Due to our growing work bank, we have requirements for a Hand Back Engineer for long term projects on the Core Valley Lines. Full Time, Mid Week, Weekends Days and Nights.

    Main duties include:

    • To oversee planned large rail projects.
    • Managing Pre-site base line surveys for the client to deliver work
    • Understanding track geometry and restoring by mechanised repair (tamper or stone blower)
    • Heat watch
    • Confirm track is fit for operational purposes following; manual maintenance repairs or reported rough ride, heavy maintenance and track renewal work
    • Raise or remove condition of track (COT) ESR or TSR
    • Raise or remove ‘Trackwork’ ESR or TSR
    • Completion of all the appropriate sections

     

    What experience would we like you to have?

    • Extensive proven experience as a Track Handback Engineer
    • Attended and Passed the Hand back Engineers training course as defined in NR/SP/CTM/011
    • Full UK Driving Licence
