    Location: South Wales

    Due to continuous growth, we have an opportunity for a Planner/Authorised Planner to provide OLE support for projects on the Core Valley Line.

    The Planner will be responsible for:

    • Submitting workplans and attending planning meetings as required
    • Produce the Task Briefs every week to cover the planned works
    • Arrange for the appropriate number of staff (only Project inducted staff to be used) to carry out any planned works, with staff details being submitted on the project race cards within T-10 days.
    • Arrange for all equipment to be ordered and ready in advance of any shift.
    • Ensure that all records are up to date

     

    What experience would we like you to have?

    • Planning experience in an operational rail environment with valid PTS, Authorised Person (AP) competency.
    • Understand the process for planning, Safety of People Working on or Near the Line
    • A proven track record of preparing all associated plans, task briefs and Race Cards
    • Experience creating packs with a high attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills
